How do I add or remove an owner to my current license?

Currently, there is no option to change anything that pertains to the ownership of a basic business license except for typing errors (a fee may apply). The only way to add additional owners or remove an existing owner is to cancel the current license. After that’s done, you can restart the process by applying for a new license that includes all the current owners. In addition, you will also be required to re-register with DHCD-RAD and go through a home inspection. 


Note: There are exceptions, such as the death of an owner, but these cases can be complicated. Reach out to us so we can determine how this change should be handled.
