It’s important that you receive all updates from RentJiffy without them being lost in your Promotions or Spam folders. Gmail and Google Workspace accounts often sort automated service emails into other tabs, which can cause you to miss important licensing updates, inspection schedules, or compliance reminders.
Follow these steps to ensure RentJiffy emails always appear in your Primary tab and stay visible.
Move RentJiffy emails to your Primary tab
Go to your Gmail inbox.
Find any email from RentJiffy (for example: support@rentjiffy.com).
Drag the email from the Promotions or other tab into the Primary tab.
When prompted with the question "Do this for future messages from this sender?", click Yes.
Add RentJiffy to your contacts
Adding RentJiffy to your contacts helps ensure that future emails are recognized as important.
Open an email from RentJiffy.
Hover over the sender’s name or email address at the top of the email.
When the contact card appears, click "Add to Contacts" (this may show as an icon with a person and a plus sign).
Check your Spam and Promotions folders regularly (at first)
Even after you make these changes, it is a good idea to check your Spam and Promotions folders for a few weeks to confirm that RentJiffy emails are arriving correctly.
Best Practice: Create a filter
For additional control, you can create a filter to automatically mark RentJiffy emails as important and prevent them from going to Spam.
In Gmail, click the "Show search options" icon in the search bar.
In the "From" field, enter @rentjiffy.com.
Click "Create filter."
Check the boxes for "Never send it to Spam" and "Always mark it as important." You may also select "Categorize as: Primary."
Click "Create filter" to save.
