How do I change my account email address (username) and/or password?
We are currently transitioning to a new client portal, which means we are running two systems at the same time. We know that's not ideal, but we promise the new portal is worth it — RJ3 gives you full transparency into your license and ongoing compliance unlike anything our current system can offer. Here's how to know which one is yours:
- RJ3 (new portal) — if you have recently applied and received a welcome email inviting you to rj3.rentjiffy.com, this is your system
- RJ1 (rentjiffy.com) — if you're coming to us for a license renewal, have an older license, or recently applied but haven't been migrated to the new system yet, go to rentjiffy.com

RJ3 — rj3.rentjiffy.com
- Log in at rj3.rentjiffy.com
- From the left navigation menu, click Account
- In the Profile section, make your changes:
- Email address only — update the Account Email Address field and click Save. Note: your account email is the address you use to log in and where you'll receive all communications from us, so make sure it's one you check regularly
- Password only — click the Change Password button on the right side of the screen, enter your current password, enter your new password, then enter it again to confirm. Click Save
- Both — update your email address, then click Change Password, complete the password fields, and click Save
- You'll see a confirmation message on screen when your changes are saved
RJ1 — rentjiffy.com
- Go to rentjiffy.com and click Sign In in the top-right corner
- Enter your current email and password. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it
- Once logged in, you'll land on the My Account page. Click the Login Details button in the middle of the screen
- On the Login Details screen, make your changes:
- Email address only — update the email field and click Save Changes. Note: your account email is the address you use to log in and where you'll receive all communications from us, so make sure it's one you check regularly
- Password only — click the Change Password link, enter your new password, confirm it, and click Save Changes
- Both — update your email address, then click Change Password, enter and confirm your new password, and click Save Changes
- Click the red Save Changes button to apply your updates
